There has been a number of changes in the test limits between ISO/IEC 14763-3:2006 and ISO/IEC 14763-3:2014 for the 1 Jumper Reference.
Please ensure your CertiFiber Pro and OptiFiber Pro have the latest software.
ISO/IEC 14763-3:2006 (In our certification products, this is labelled ISO/IEC 14763-3)
- for MMF: Limit = 0.6 dB + Σ (cable attenuation) + Σ (embedded connection attenuation)
- for SMF: Limit = 1.0 dB + Σ (cable attenuation) + Σ (embedded connection attenuation)
ISO/IEC 14763-3:2014
- for MMF: Limit = 1.0 dB + Σ (cable attenuation) + Σ (embedded connection attenuation)
- for SMF: Limit = 1.3 dB + Σ (cable attenuation) + Σ (embedded connection attenuation)
ISO/IEC 14763-3:2014 Corrigendum March 2015 (In our certification products, this is labelled ISO/IEC 14763-3:2014)
- for MMF: Limit = 1.0 dB + Σ (cable attenuation) + Σ (embedded connection attenuation)
- for SMF: Limit = 1.5 dB + Σ (cable attenuation) + Σ (embedded connection attenuation)
