Always use Alkaline or Lithium batteries. Never use rechargeable batteries with your Fiber QuickMap™. Typical battery life is going to be approximately 1500 tests. To preserve battery life, the Fiber QuickMap will power down automatically after 5 minutes if no key is pressed. The backlight will also turn off after a designated time. The backlight turn off time can be set between 5 and 60 seconds.
