The shield/screen on a cabling system is verified for dc continuity only with the DTX CableAnalyzer.
Shield continuity is reported true when the resistance is approx. less than 5,000 Ohms.
Continuity for the other wires is reported true when the resistance is less than approx. 1,000 Ohms.
