There are tests and there are test records. What’s the difference? A test record can contain many tests. When you import from Versiv/TFS into LinkWare, it will tell you the number of test records available for download, as in the example below:
When we look at the corresponding screen on the Versiv, we see 17 tests with 10 passes.
One of the advantages of Versiv/TFS is that you can combine Tier 1 (CertiFiber Pro) and Tier 2 (OptiFiber Pro) tests into one record. So in the example above, you see that test record 004 contains two OptiFiber Pro tests (End 1 and End 2) as well as a CertiFiber Pro test. Hence your total tests can be different to the total number of test records.
