Some Ethernet Links will provide a test result of "Passive PoE". This is often caused by the use of an older switch with an older and possibly proprietary version of Power over Ethernet (PoE) enabled. There may be a voltage value reported for two or more of the pairs.
To get LinkIQ to run a more complete test of the Ethernet device, please click on the Manual Test Selection Button to change from AUTO TEST to SWITCH TEST.
